Updated List of External Service Providers: Cambodia Added
On Wednesday, 16 July, the amended list of foreign countries where foreigners may submit applications for temporary residence permits or national visas through external service provider branches will come into effect.
From that date, the customer service branch of the external service provider VFS Global in Cambodia will begin operations.
The branch will operate one day per week, only on Wednesdays. On those days, it will accept applications for temporary residence permits or national Lithuanian visas only from foreigners intending to study at Lithuanian higher education institutions.
Applications for residence permits or visas on any other grounds will not be accepted at this location.
Cambodia was selected following public consultations organized by the Migration Department and after receiving assessments from competent state institutions confirming that the operation of such a branch abroad does not pose threats to the state’s security interests.
