Visas

The Migration Department makes decisions regarding the issue of national visas and the extension of the stay in the Republic of Lithuania with a Schengen Visa, issues national visas and extends the expiration date of the stay with a Schengen visa, and cancels national and Schengen visas.

The Migration Department consults Lithuanian state institutions, which issue visas for foreigners, on the issue of visas, in cases of Schengen acquis – other Schengen states on the issues of issuing Schengen visas.
