Free movement of persons in the EU

Implementing the principle of free movement of persons in the European Union in the Republic of Lithuania, territorial migration divisions of police institutions under the Migration Department issue the documents to confirm the right of citizens of European Union member states and their family members to a temporary or permanent residence in the Republic of Lithuania.

The Migration Department also withdraws the right of citizens of European Union member states or their family members to a temporary or permanent residence in Lithuania.
