International cooperation

The Migration Department cooperates with various migration services and international organisations (International Organisation for Migration, Board of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), etc.), also takes part at the Conference of Directors-General of Immigration Services (GDISC) and the European Asylum Support Office. Representatives of the Migration Department also take part at the committees and working groups of the European Council and European Commission regarding free movement of persons, migration, asylum, visas, deportation of foreigners and other issues, related to the legal situation of foreigners.
