When an alien's national visa is cancelled:
- If an alien is in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania, the decision to return him/her to a foreign state shall be made. It is to be noted that, if an alien is subject to a visa-free regime, the decision to return him/her to a foreign state shall not be made, the alien shall have the right to stay in the Republic of Lithuania without a visa, but his/her stay in the Republic of Lithuania and other Schengen states cannot exceed 90 days during any 180-day period.
- An alien must leave the Republic of Lithuania before the expiry of the term of his/her legal stay in the Republic of Lithuania. Whereas, if the decision on returning the alien to a foreign state has been made, he/she must depart from the Republic of Lithuania within the term of voluntary departure, specified in the decision to return him/her to a foreign state, to the state specified in the mentioned decision; if an alien does not leave on time, he/she shall be expelled from the Republic of Lithuania.
- If the decision to cancel the national visa was has been made together with the decision to prohibit him/her from entering the Republic of Lithuania, the alien must depart from the Republic of Lithuania by the date, specified in the decision, from which he/she will be prohibited from entering the Republic of Lithuania; he/she must inform the Migration Department by e-mail: [email protected] about his/her departure from the Republic of Lithuania, submitting the facts and / or documents confirming his/her departure from the Republic of Lithuania (the country through which the alien has left the Republic of Lithuania, the date of his/her departure from the Republic of Lithuania, etc. must be specified).
