Courier service

At the customer’s request, the personal ID card, provided it does not have the personal electronic identification certificate and qualified electronic signature certificate, passport, temporary or permanent residence permit, e-resident card can be delivered at the address of the customer’s choice in Lithuania and handed over by a courier.

The price is €9.99 for each individual document.
Payment for the service can made by card or cash at the FoxPay terminal.

Courier service is available:

• when applying for the issuance of an ID card or passport in the general procedure, i.e. within 30 days.
• when applying for the issuance of a temporary residence permit in the general procedure, i.e within 3 months, and in the urgent procedure, i.e. within 1.5 months. Important notice! The time during which the courier transports and delivers the temporary residence permit is not included in the processing time of the application.

Courier service is not available:

• when the document confirming the identity and citizenship of the Republic of Lithuania is issued for the first time;
• when the identity document has to be obtained urgently, i.e. on the same day or within 5 working days;
• if during the application process for the ID card, the citizen expressed their wish to have the electronic identification certificate and qualified electronic signature certificate included in the ID card;
• the person does not have a valid identity document (a passport or an ID card, i.e. it has been lost, stolen or expired less than a month ago).
