Project No. 02.3.1-CPVA-V-529-01-0012 ‘Developing Electronic Migration Services’

The Migration Department, together with the Police Department, the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre, the Information Technology and Communications Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the PI Centre of Registers, the Lithuanian Labour Exchange and the National Examination Centre has been implementing a project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund, which will develop/modernise 21 advanced electronic migration services. In order to ensure that the process of service provision is consistent and clear to the service receivers, the developed/modernised services will be merged into a single composite e-service, based on a life event ‘I am coming to live in Lithuania’.

This project will enable to provide all migration services in a single service portal – the Electronic Migration Gate. The services will have a better quality and be easier to access to the service providers, reducing the administrative burden of the service providers, saving time and financial costs, improving the efficiency of the migration services.
