Both sides of ID card are covered with three colour security grids printed in rainbow.

Micro lettering
Repeating micro lettering “LIETUVOS RESPUBLIKA” forms an independent line at the top of the card.

Kinegram
A diffractive optical element with kinematic effect.

Card number
Card number of eight digits.

Data, face image
Data and face image are laser engraved.

Optically variable inks
An element in optically variable inks (OVI) changes colour when viewed at different angles.

Card surface
Surface embossing – positive and negative relief.

Ultraviolet inks
Design elements are rainbow printed in invisible ink fluorescing under UV light in different colours.

Multiple laser image
Secondary image of card holder in multiple laser image (MLI) changes into country code “LTU” when tilted.
