The procedure for submitting requests related to personal information to the Migration Department

Please be informed that, in accordance with Order regarding the Customers Service at the Migration Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania,  requests submitted by phone, as well as requests received by e-mail, not signed with a qualified electronic signature, are answered by providing general information, in which does not directly present any data of a specific customer and the data contained therein cannot be linked to any specific client. If you would like to receive personal information or make a request in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Administration, we recommend that you submit an official request in one of the following ways:

  • submit the application directly upon arrival at the Migration Department (in this case, a valid identity document must be submitted together with the application);
  • send the request by mail to the address L. Sapiegos g. 1, Vilnius (in this case, a copy of a valid identity document must be submitted together with the application);
  • send the request by means of electronic communication (in this case, the request must be signed with a valid qualified electronic signature).
